Direct email newsletters serve as a personal engagement with supporters.

In the direct email newsletters, we included information about each supporter's existing donations towards their sponsored child. This would tie into the transparency aspect that we are trying to emphasize upon. In addition, new on future projects of the developmental programs in those particular communities are also shared with them in order to keep them in the loop and allow them to decide if they want to continue their donations or perhaps increase their giving amounts.
These updates of World Vision can be written down in detail as participants would be keen to know how their donations have been and will be put to use. In this way, World Vision would gain the trust of their loyal supporters and improve the overall image of their organization as personal, honest and caring.
